Notice this interest in Abbott comes right after the Sips brandish their students for not attending a home game.

We play every other year in odd numbered years: '17, '19, '21.

We play at Kyle Field on TGiving Day.

We pay the Sips $5M for coming to play us.

Refs are from B1G and approved by both coaching staffs.

We would play LSU on even numbers years at Kyle, but they have no interest in playing on TGiving when we travel to BR, so that keeps us on TGiving.

We treat them like FCS teams and pay them to come to our staidum without having to go to their stadium. They need to money.

Attendance this year:
Maryland: 88,396 as the #23 team in the country
San Jose St: 88,117
K-State: 90,462
Okie State: 92,506
Remaining:
Kansas: (1-6)
Tech: (4-3)

As if those figures are real. We also know they are practically giving the tickets away, but empty stadiums don't lie.

Today the 2018 schedules were announced in the BXII-2-2+2

09/01: Longhorns @ Maryland
09/08: Tulsa @ Longhorns
09/15: USC @ Longhorns
9/22: TCU @ Longhorns
9/29: Longhorns @ K-State
10/06: Longhorns v OU (Dallas)
10/13: Baylor @ Longhorns
10/27: Longhorns @ Okie State
11/03: WV @ Longhorns
11/10: Longhorns @ Tech
11/17: Iowa State @ Longhorns
11/23: Longhorns @ Kansas

Try selling that to STHs.

TCU and Baylor don't travel. They have a hard time filling their own stadium.

WV & Iowa State. Makes me laugh.

Between their poor performances, small market opposing teams that don't travel, dwindling attendance and increased lack of interest... the value of their tickets diminishes. They will need the $5M we throw their way. There is no reason to buy Season Tickets.

What kills me about this is the fact we are winning the long game. It worked. Everyone that said we were idiots or trash for leaving were proved wrong.

Maybe we have mediocre seasons, but our brand is growing. We are winning the long game. Playing them only gives them a chance to grow, something they were not interested in letting us do when they were on top.

1. Written apologies from their administration and athletic department for letting the game drop in the first place.
2. Proportional allotment of the PUF based on student enrollment.
3. SEC referees.

Nope. Do not want to play them. The only way I'll say yes to it is:

1. They play at Kyle
2. They pay us for the game
3. We pick the ref
4. The NCAA reviews Trent Hunters "pass interference" in 2011, overturn it and by default give us the win.
5. Any game the Ags play cannot and will not be shown on that craptacular network.

Let's play 2 power 5 opponents every year. Or least schedule a upcoming Mountain West or AAC program that might find themselves with 10 wins by years end in addition to a power 5 opponent. Tired of Nichols State and these meaningless games.

what does "brandish their students" mean?

if anything, Lawyer's Name Field FAILED to brandish their students. meanwhile, students were brandishing their dildos, likely in the quiet confines of their safe houses.

I would favor renewing only on the following terms:


Sips lower their flags and march straight back to Austin, stopping at every home they pass by to beg forgiveness for a hundred years of theft, rape, and murder. Do that and they shall live. Do it not, and every one of them will die of shame.

oh yes, and before we let them leave, Tom Herman and DeLoss Dodds must cross that field, present himself before the Fightin' Texas Aggie team, put his head between his legs, and kiss his own ass.
