He is a scrappy underdog that didn't expect to start. All of a sudden his starter goes down for the season, and he is asked to lead this team. He loses the first game, but then every game gets better and better. They win out, only to lose in the championship.

Sumlin better hope he doesn't have any teenage daughters.

So 4 games in, I agree. It seems Mond has been getting better and better. Compete against Bama, no, but I actually looking forward to watching him progress. Should be an interesting quarterback battle when's Starkel is back...

I like the notion, but there is no way a highly regarded recruit out of a fake high school for top tier athletes is comparable to Matt Saracen
