Serious question....not only does it not seem loud on TV, if the announcers dont make 1 reference to how loud we are during an entire half are we at all intimidating? Seems like the tacklebox was louder

We haven't been loud since a handful of third downs after Nebraska '10. It gets a little quieter every year.
We haven't been truely loud since the 90's.
What's with the empty seats as well
It's sad....we need to put some cell reception blockers on the student side or something.....might explain our home record the past couple years

Thought this new stadium was supposed to amp the noise? The students are def weaker but the olds suck worse than when i was in school

They ban every damn thing from Kyle. Maybe if they banned cell phones, people would watch and yell more instead of text all game.
Winning cures all. We have higher expectations than the past few years. Many are not willing to pay this kind of money to watch us continue to lose his much at home.

Would be nice to hear from someone actually there. TV muffles the sound, and they did have to take a time out die to noise.
Again I expect the announcers to make a comment or two on how loud we are especially during big games....haven't heard anything from G&V

I'm here at the game and this place isn't HALF as loud as when I went to school here in the 90s. Very disappointed.

If you think it's the students your are sadly mistaken. I'm here, and can say the West, South West, and North Zones are sitting, talking, and enjoying shade. The students in the SE and East stands are in this game. I'm an old, '97, but have folks around me looking at me like I'm crazy for standing and yelling the whole time.
It's not gotten quieter, you idiots are just going deaf.
This is the last of the millennials. It will get better.
