I emailed him today...I ask....
May so ask where you got your college degree...your orange colored glasses are all over this article.I am not an A&M alum but notice how often negative headlines about A&M are large and prominent. A friend of mine called it to my attention about a year ago and I guess he was correct. Try to be more objective.
Quick response from him...
"Hey if UT was doing the same, I would have put UT in the headline. Don't blame me. Blame A&M for threatening to eminent domain a century old building, and a business, out of existence for a new dental college that will replace an existing one. You're an Aggie, I presume?
My response....(btw..my son is an Aggie but didn't tell him)
Not an Aggie....just a subscriber for many years and have noticed the trend. Your UT degree is valuable and I enjoy many of your articles but didn't think you were too transparent in today's article. Just feedback...not scorn.
Final response from him......
Didn't feel the need to note I went to UT in there. The line in there about turning maroon burnt orange was, ya know, just a joke....? I guess. Or not?
So just trying to keep media honest and let tu journalism school know WE NOTICE.
