I'm not sure what championships he thinks OU has won lately, but I'm pretty sure the last time we played them, we destroyed them.

They have won more than half of the conference championships ever awarded in the Big 12. More than half.

Yet their team was more highly regarded at the beginning of this run with Stoops, than at the end of it. What does that tell you? That the Big 12 has been in a steady decline since the mid 2000s.

They won the big 12 as co champs in 2012. And got destroyed by Texas A&M in their bowl game, thanks in large part to a bunch of O-linemen recruited and developed by Jim Turner owning OU that day.

Who knows what the future holds for Texas A&M and OU in the coming seasons.

Well bless their little heart. Is the Barbie and Ken Conference a real championship? Last time we played OU, I believe the score was 41-13. I guess the answer is no.

Some teams get to play SEC west competition year in and year our. Others play those types of marquee games once or twice per year (UT at neyland last year fir OU) and theit game against Clemson. They also have the game with the longhorns so I'll give them 3. Other than that Baylor is going down, and that leaves playing wvu, iowa state, kansas, etc.

Yes, their path to a championship is much easier than ours and i can't deny that. Congrats on their big 12 titles now.

Not only do we have scoreboard. We have scoreboard over them in a conference championship season.

Not only did we dismantle them 41-13, we witnessed one of the most dominant quarters in college football history. The 3rd quarter in the Cotton Bowl was a dismantling. Three touchdown drives in excess of 75 yards. Three 3 and outs by OU. Further, they got 13 points by scoring a touchdown off of a turnover. A turnover that was a Johnny Manziel touchdown pass that bounced off of Malcolm Kennedy's chest in the endzone. They got a 14 point swing turnover, and till lost by four touchdowns.

We also still own the biggest victory ever at Owen Field from our game in 1997.

are you done licking your own wiener yet? Pretty sure OU can say the same about us in 2003. As much as i dislike OU they owned us more often than not. Cherry picking sports history is typical Aggie behavior because we do not have the hardware to boast about like Texas, OU or others. I think these folks are actually hanging on to a more recent memory, Jan 4 2013. Personally I think it is time to move on as I think we sound like sips throwing the 2011 game score in our faces all the time.

Cale Gundy vs Jim Turner. Just look at their resumes. Who would you want to be coached by?

You would think the heroics of Reggie McNeal in 2002 or the stellar play of Von Miller in 2010 would be recognized by Aggies as memorable games in the series but I guess that SEC on the Johnny Manzel's uniform somehow makes the Cotton Bowl special.
