Are you saying the aggie band influences the outcome of football games by performing at halftime?
If the FTAB knows they won't be performing at halftime they most likely won't spend the travel money to get to the game. I'd offer that having them there pulling and yelling for the team and playing familiar traditional Aggie music can't hurt and it just might help. If nothing else it might help the other Ags in the stands get pumped up.
Any current or former players want to weigh in on the question of does having the FTAB there at a road game have an impact on their attitude or mood? It's a question I'd like some players to address.
I understand that when you are on the field playing football that you don't really hear or see what's going in the stands. Your'e concentrating on your job. Between plays, on the sidelines, getting pumped before the game or before the 2nd half or after a critical positive play .... I can see how it might be a factor. We know playing at home in front of a big, loud, supportive crowd is definitely a positive factor. I believe this could be a factor in a similar way albeit an order of magnitude or two less.
