staffs are settled everywhere

who is going to want to step into that mess

i realize someone will take it, but it's going to have to be an unproven mid major type who gets a big step up. no big name known quantity with a job is going to take that laterally.

and biggest of all...spring practice is done. new coach and staff gets no time with players until fall camp a few weeks before seasons starts. assuming a new system, calls, etc. thats gonna be difficult.

In another Zoo thread, it was stated that Briles texted his players saying that the rest of the staff will remain in place. It should be a complete house cleaning. Penn State type of sanctions.

Do they have any decent recruits? Will players be released like Penn st.?

yeah...until a new coach is named....nobody comes in and retains the entire previous staff.

Yes on recruits. No one releases.


Though I guess the university can grant a release. I doubt that they will.

If the ncaa gets involved then players will be released from LOI's with immediate eligibility.

Well, could be. No guarantees because NCAA.
