so it's okay when a guy flips his commitment to us, right?
quote:Judging by the # of stars on your post, it appears he's currently a 3 star recruit.
it's Adrian Wolford.
quote:And welcome, Adrian!
Criticizing Turner's choices on Oline is just stupid.
The dudes got a long long proven track record of putting guys into the nfl as top picks.
I've got no issue with any recruit he offers.
quote:Well for one, he's from the state of Oklahoma, and was committed to OK-State for quite a while. Usually programs back off of prospects who aren't looking around and are committed to an in state program. Wolford didn't start looking around until recently and Turner snagged him.
His offer list is: the good guys, Okie lite, and Tulsa. Not sure why the offers aren't there. Trust in Turner, I guess.
Glad to hear some good news either way.
quote:This was kind of my thought as well. In-state kid who shuts it down early might not be a good use of recruiting resources when thinking in terms of flip percentage. It will be interesting now to see if more schools come calling.quote:Well for one, he's from the state of Oklahoma, and was committed to OK-State for quite a while. I know it must sound like a broken record around here, but if there is ONE guy in college football who knows offensive linemen, it's Turner - so trust him. Plus look at Wolford's film. Kid is a mauling monster, and plays both DT and OT, so athletic as well.

Jarvis Harrison was drafted and he was a 2 star out of Navasota that nobody wanted. I don't think Turner cares how many stars they have or what they rank...
