Murray quits because he didn't get immediately anointed as the starter. Because so few college quarterbacks have big NFL careers, what is he going to do when he is done with football and is working in the real world? What's he going to do when he is passed up for a promotion? Quit?
Allen quits because he didn't think he deserved competition. What is he going to do in the real world when he's competing in the workplace? Run back to his daddy and have his ego stroked at home?
Tate de-commits because he didn't immediately click with a coach. Who here has ever had a boss they didn't immediately get along with? Did you quit too?
What's-his-face receiver recruit de-commits because he disagreed with what somebody said on Twitter. Is he going to run to his safe space every time he disagrees with a boss or co-worker?
The abject pussiness of today's young people is simply amazing. So much more interesting than football or recruiting.
We're witnessing a generation of completely selfish and delusional Americans come to age. Everybody got a trophy. Everybody is a star. Everybody is a celebrity.
Great Movie - "Remember the Titans." Can you imagine if that plot was played out in today's world? Do you think the kids would come together and work through pain and adversity towards a common goal? Ha.
Junction Boys? That would be fascinating. Lets take our recent crop of insolated 17-18 year olds and put them in Junction with Bear Bryant. Something tells me that if they can't handle Twitter, they wouldn't of handled Bear Bryant!
I hope this generation never has to deal with any real problems. I really hope this generation doesn't have to face Normandy or a real depression.
I am so happy I squeaked into Gen X.
