Murray quits because he didn't get immediately anointed as the starter. Because so few college quarterbacks have big NFL careers, what is he going to do when he is done with football and is working in the real world? What's he going to do when he is passed up for a promotion? Quit?

Allen quits because he didn't think he deserved competition. What is he going to do in the real world when he's competing in the workplace? Run back to his daddy and have his ego stroked at home?

Tate de-commits because he didn't immediately click with a coach. Who here has ever had a boss they didn't immediately get along with? Did you quit too?

What's-his-face receiver recruit de-commits because he disagreed with what somebody said on Twitter. Is he going to run to his safe space every time he disagrees with a boss or co-worker?

The abject pussiness of today's young people is simply amazing. So much more interesting than football or recruiting.

We're witnessing a generation of completely selfish and delusional Americans come to age. Everybody got a trophy. Everybody is a star. Everybody is a celebrity.

Great Movie - "Remember the Titans." Can you imagine if that plot was played out in today's world? Do you think the kids would come together and work through pain and adversity towards a common goal? Ha.

Junction Boys? That would be fascinating. Lets take our recent crop of insolated 17-18 year olds and put them in Junction with Bear Bryant. Something tells me that if they can't handle Twitter, they wouldn't of handled Bear Bryant!

I hope this generation never has to deal with any real problems. I really hope this generation doesn't have to face Normandy or a real depression.

I am so happy I squeaked into Gen X.

Not to take away from your rant because you're on a roll, but remember that Allen transferred away first so Murray essentially was handed the starting job, lots of other factors were in play with his leaving.

Not to detract from your troll troll troll your boat, but it's not the real world and they aren't in a committed job that is paying them. They don't have families. They haven't learned those lessons in life yet. Some may, some may not.

Now proceed on with lamenating an entire subset of the population based on the actions of 2-3

Allen didn't leave because he was afraid of competition, be bad already beaten Kyler when the deck was stacked by Sumlin. Kyle left because his he couldn't trust his coach after he was thrown under the bus with lies about his injury!

You don't leave a starting job in the mighty SEC unless you're smelling fear straight from your puss.

Hope he finds some strength in front of those hundreds of fans at that commuter school.

In the real world, people with options don't always make the choices you would.

Let go people. Those continuing to complain about Kyler are the ones that need to learn to live with Real World. Right now Your life is revolving around 18 yr olds.

It all traces back to videogames with unlimited re-spawn. Grit simply no longer offers the ROI that it has over human history. Mark my words: within 10 years, skill position players will be wearing mascara and lipstick for public appearances. Poor Msrs Murray and Martell are just too far ahead of their time.

Funny, I was just thinking that video games are why the fans get so upset over recruiting. Too many hours playing the players you want against the opposition you select.

He left because he knew the Kyler thing was always going to be a thing. Allen didn't want to be part of the **** show Kyler and daddy were stirring up.

Allen left because Sumlin played "daddy ball" with Kevin Murray.

Showers leaving was a Johnny problem.
Hill leaving was a drinking problem.
Kyler leaving was a Kevin Murray problem.
Allen leaving was Sumlin's problem.
High School boy decommitting was No problem at all.

Those getting mad at the millennial are forgetting one thing. Who raised those kids? The same generation that most of you getting upset are part of. These kids didn't learn it on their own they have the previous gen. to thank.

Who do you considered entitled? The players or the fans? Lots of butthurt here where everything is everyone else's fault.

Many of you are misguided in criticism of the folks pointing out the entitled nature of generation wuss.

We are not 'mad' or 'butt-hurt' that a kid pulled his commitment or a player transferred.

We are fascinated by it. We are amazed by it not because it may hurt our team, we are amazed at how ***** kids and their helicopter parents have become.

Stupid Gen X'ers.
Talon2DSO

technically, since fans are really just passive observers, it really IS someone roses fault.

Olaf. Not based on a few. A few examples were given that just so happen be in some way connected to Texas A&M Football but those examples were not intended as exhaustive.

Now, crawl back into your safe space.

Funny that the kids are entitled but the parents bear no responsibility in kids being this way. Is that not the definition of entitlement? Parents being entitled to kids acting a certain way regardless of how they raise them.

Parents have a lot to do with it. This is the helicopter parent generation that calls up their kids prof when their kid doesn't get an A.
