Should probably get this one out of the way....Martell's decommit is hopefully the final fallout from Sumlin holding onto Spav.
2015 should have been the first year with a new OC. Hopefully, this is a lesson learned about making staff changes regardless of their potential recruits or personal relationships.
At worst, Mazzone brings maturity to a position that needed it in 2015. The combo of Knight, Hubenak, and Mazzone set up a great culture for Starkel.
Optimistically, the loss of Tate is the final rinse of Spav and it's only custom building from Chavis/Mazzzone/Sumlin from this point forward. If Sumlin is the long term HC, this is just another lesson learned. He seems to rarely make the same mistakes twice and comes full circle when he can right a wrong (ie: Turner).
