Johnny really played well last season. He went 2/4 with the worst team in the NFL ! Unfortunately, the combination of his lifestyle and the gross dysfunction of the Cleveland Browns Franchise, and throwing in Coleen Crowley for bad measure, created a terrible witches brew resulting in Johnny's release on waivers.

I don't think that people are mad that he isn't playing football anymore. I think people are more or less let down by the fact that he defrauded a team a lot of money to fulfill his alcohol and (I'm speculating) drug problem, with Texas A&M's label all over it.

For the record, last season Johnny Manziel played, by far, with more energy, persistence and determination than any other Browns player ! In his last game against the Chiefs, where he rushed for 108 yards and was only one play away, at the end, from knocking the Chiefs from entering the playoffs, Andy Reid was so impressed, ( and releived ) he gave Johnny a big hug ! After the Crowley matter is settled and hopefully soon, THE COMEBACK WILL BEGIN ! !
His passing was dreadful that game.
