Has anyone read the new game of my life book that just came out? I want to buy it for someone for christmas but he's not much of a reader unless it's very good. Could anyone tell me how it is?
It is a very enjoyable read. It is always fun to hear stories about the memorable games that are told by the players themselves.
Bottom line is the book is a "must buy" (and they have been having book signings by the author and several ball players in the MSC bookstore prior to games. Mine has been signed by the author and by Ed Simonini. I hope to get them all to sign eventually.
I enjoyed it. I got it for my husband for Christmas and I sat and read it before I hid it! I coudln't put it down. It's easy to read too because you can skip around and read the parts you want and then go back and finish the rest.
I have read half of it and it is very good. I am not much of a reader either. The only book I have read for pleasure in the past 10 years was The Junction Boys.
