Our receivers looked bad the year before Moorehead came aboard and our offense has been terrible the last two years. I am will to see what Moorehead's guys look like under a real OC.

CM Punk is no longer with the WWF (it will always be that to me) and is now trying MMA. I feel sad and invigorated that I know that.

It's been since KK left. KK has a routine where receivers catch literally thousands more passes throughout the offseason and season. Take a look at drop rate with KK and after.

Well KK was the last time we had a competent OC. We actually have one now (though not as dynamic as KK), so things might pick up.

Great. Here comes the doomsday crowd.

Until there is blocking, all offensive coordinators and plays will fail. The o-line play is the basis for any and all offensive success.

Having quality o-line play is a 2 step process.

1) Get good blockers

2) Teach them how to block even better.


We haven't done either of those things since Sherman left.

I'm no expert, it seems we've been doing this "kind of interrupt they guy in front of you" scheme rather than building running lanes.

The name calling was unwarranted and for that I apologize, but I would still like to see much more production from the WR unit as a whole. I.E. Blocking downfield (excluding RSJ, the dude loves crushing guys on blocks), running routes crisply and hard even when you know you are the 4th pass look on the play, etc.

Guess I just miss having Swope, Kennedy, and Evans lining up at the same time.

He's probably a good recruiter who gets along well with the athletes and their parents. Add in his NFL credentials and a Super Bowl ring and it can't hurt.
