It is becoming increasingly apparent that Charles and company have made an error in recruiting these last couple of weeks. They went all in on negative recruiting A&M and then basically bragged about getting er'body.

And then, all their "silent commits" went off to visit places like A&M, LSU, OU, Bama, Baylor, Arkansas, etc. Not only did the sips not sell their own program, they put the target on their back to where these other places sold their own programs and then focused their own negative recruiting propaganda primarily against the sips (which isn't really hard to do).

Top 10 class my ass. The backtracking and crawfishing has already begun.

6-7...we will never have another five loss season...and then 5-7...and I don't see how they won't have at least another five losses this season. Of course, what choice did he have...his program sucks and they couldn't coach their way out of a paper bag. Hell, their best recruiter had one of the most horrific display of special teams coaching I've ever seen.

Okay ill offer you the same deal I made Rojo. If you are wrong about jones and tu signing a top class (better than us, according to let's say rivals), will you never ever post again?

The problem with negative recruiting which is basically the hallmark for a program with back to back losing seasons, is that it sets up for other much better programs coming back at you hard. And right now tu is recruiting against much better programs. They sucked the last two years and are going to be mediocre at absolute best this coming year. There was too much neglect at key areas like QB, OL, and DL over multiple recruiting classes for a quick fix.

I think tu could end up jumping 15 more spots in the rankings and signing the likes of Jones. The problem is they are skirting 40 or worse in just about every service. That doesn't equal a top ten ranking. Everything, and I mean everything would have to go right for them to get a top 10 ranking. That never happens and even their own sunshine pumping mods are backing away from it.

Not really following recruiting too closely. Will we end up with a higher rated class then them? Looking at the rankings, we have a huge lead on them.

You mean the goof who plays mike mckenzie to strong's fran? The whorn mods never undersell. The fact that they are touting top 15 instead of top 10 is pretty telling, since after their big weekend they were touting top 15.

The fact is strong's negative recruiting is starting to bite him the ass some. Everybody has bagmen, but you have to pay more when you suck like strong and every other coach is telling your recruits how much you suck. They are also rightly pointing out that strong is gone by 2017 because he will not do well enough to keep his job (the whorn BMAs have drawn the line in the sand at 8 wins minimum (and that might be enough if he starts the season poorly).

I'd say top 10 class for them if Jones & McCulloch truly are silent commits. All the recruits know where the others are going for the most part and if they know they are going there then they will join.

People have run the numbers. Even if they got everyone they said they would they would not have been top 10. Now that that they are looking not to get everyone, they will be top 15 at best. Even their mods are saying that.
