NSD is the early signing period. How much earlier should they be allowed to sign? Isn't 6 months in advance early enough?

80 miles to Austin or 30 to CS. I am sure those 50 miles made all the difference. Probably had nothing to do with 5-7.

That's not early signing. Most other sports have an October signing, 10 months prior.

How 'bout NO signing period, period.
Must be a Senior to commit, but you sign when you do.
Most kids would then take all 5 visits before committing, & it would do away with flipping,
or fake commits from kids just to have a backup plan at the school's expense.
Would also end over signing & pulling commits offers at the last minute, so would be good for the kids too....

I can also tell you from experience, though, that Caldwell is actually sip country. I don't know why, but it is. All the folks I know from Caldwell are diehard sips.
