I would agree in principle. But the big question that has been asked a couple of times is: are these QBs a sign of changes at OC? Or no changes at all. I think the former is good for us. The later...I'm getting a dog.

Even as someone whonhas just about lost confidence in Sumlin, I have no problem with him not really adrressing everything yet. I thinks its wise to wait until the players decisions are in and the dust has settled. Answering things on a blow by blow basis serve no purpose. Wait until all information is final and decisions are in. That way he is adressing facts and not speculation and rumors.

I fully agree with OP. We get attacked as a nation, you expect the president to address the nation. Obviously you want him to take action, and that will ultimately be the deciding factor in how he managed the situation, but a statement to the public has to be made.

Sumlin is in the same boat. His actions going forward will ultimately determine his fate as HC at A&M, but the fans and alumni deserve some kind of explanation.

I despise the entitlement generation coming up in this country, but the fans expecting to be told what is going on is far from feeling entitled. Sumlin's cryptic coach speak mumbo jumbo schtivk is worn out. It was one thing when Johnny was here and the production on the field was positive, or when there were serious contractual negotiations being hashed out with Chavis, but this is a totally different animal.
