Has a program ever had its two top QBs transfer before?
quote:So it's KK's fault?
We (Tech) can feel your pain on this one. Going into 2013 Michael Brewer was slated to be our QB. Highly rated out of HS, had been in the program a couple years, and we were all looking forward to it. He hurt his back over the summer, and the next QB on our roster was Davis Webb. Webb had some terrible sickness that caused him to drop something like 30 lbs., leaving us with a true freshman walkon, Baker Mayfield. At the end of that season, where Mayfield one freshman offensive player of the year in the B12, he of course transferred. Brewer graduated early and transferred at the same time. Everyone knows where Mayfield went (although he has been a whiny, lying b**** about it), and Brewer went on to start at Va Tech, where they beat tOSU last year.
As for our QB situation since they left, Webb started last year, until Mahomes took over midseason. This year Mahomes was the undisputed starter, and now it appears Webb is leaving for BGSU, where our RB coach was just named HC. In the same time period we have lost a couple of others to transfer, but no one who was in consideration to start. Webb will only have one year to play at BGSU, and I wish we could keep him as a solid backup, but he's a good guy, and our fans wish him the best, same as we did for Brewer when he left..

quote:And that's neat, but at what point in the season did they play like 5*s? Don't put all your stock into what's on paper. Best of luck. Honestly, not backhanded. I've warmed on A&M over the last few years. Lots of family ties going back to great grandfather.
No offense to the Texas tech reference, but we're taking abot 2 five star players.
