Hubanek and Kyler have basically one motion which eliminates a lot of sacks and is better for accuracy. If you play back a little portion of the game Allen has a throw of a right fielder trying to gun out a runner at third base. Too many things can go wrong with that kind of motion. Besides that, Spav has to go, he could put all of his plays on one side of a postage stamp.

When I was a kid, the coach would punish a player for talking back by having him do
laps or pushups, this does not punish the team nor the fans. Are you listening Sumlin?

I have one motion that works for me, but sometimes I change it up so it feels a little different. Maybe Kyle's doing the same thing.

Kyle does have a long, slow release.

His motion is longer than most, but the guy is hurt. He is good when healthy. The problems with this offense are not the fault of the QB. The OC is way the **** out of his league. The head coach refuses to address that very obvious issue.

So get off of Allen's ass. The kid is very talented and is being asked to do too much to cover for all of the bad choices the staff makes.

Kyle is a drop back passer and has poor fundamentals when rolling out. Spav is trying to make him do things that he is not good at. This is all on spav.

His motion looked injured. KA's head was not in the game. He could have been more seriously hurt. It was negligent to leave Kyle in the game.

Preparation, execution, and adjustments are simply absent from Spav's playbook.

Allen and Hubanek looked befuddled and clueless, reflected by the cluelessness of the OC.

Blue star for OP. I have been saying the same thing since Allen got here. I have never seen a consistently successful quarterback with a long slow throwing motion. Allen winds up to throw. This is a safety's dream. The extra count or so it gives the safety to read the quarterback is a killer. On top of that the delay between when the quarterback thinks throw and actually executes it means the ball gets there late. Combine that with slow developing pass plays and you get what we have, suckage. Throwing late is almost never good.

Hubenak actually looked a lot better than Kyle.

His throwing motion was fine the first few games. He actually had really nice footwork and a good full-body follow through. The problem is he's now hearing DL footsteps and he's abandoning all his technique to try to get the ball out faster.

Kyle's a wreck right now. Between his fear of taking sacks causing him to rush and whatever shoulder injury affecting his accuracy, he's not throwing well at all right now.

It's hard to have any kind of decent motion while in the grips of the opposing defense. I have to admit Kyle doesn't have the type quick Joe Namath release as we'd like to see, however, the kid has thrown some amazingly accurate passes. Attitue has a lot to do with this, the entire offense seams to have an attitude lower than whale sh@t.

Allen's throwing motion does not lend itself to getting the ball out faster. Hence another part of the problem. When he's hurried he cannot release the ball quickly and accurately. The problem is magnified when he is hurried.

And we don't need a "wreck right now" quarterbacking this team.
