I know they don't sell alcohol anywhere, not even the club level when they host NCAA tournament games, so I'm curious about ourbfootball game vs ASU. Anyone know? Wondering if there is any value to getting club seats.

If they serve alcohol at Jeryworld for the pig game, which I'm almost certain they do, I imagine it will be the same for the ASU game.

I just remember shelling out for club tickets at NRG for the Sweet 16 and everyone was pissed bc they weren't selling alcohol and they said it was bc it was a college event. Maybe since it was an NCAA tournament event they couldn't but since this is a regular game they can?

NCAA prohibits alcohol at NCAA "championship" events (that might include Sweet 16). Other than that, it is up to conferences and schools. More and more conferences and schools are approving alcohol sales because of $$$$.

NRG will have alcohol. The full bars in the club will be open. Most of the time they restrict club access to club and suite ticket holders. Other times, they don't care as much. My guess is you will need a club/ suite ticket.

But there are other bars in stadium that I think will also be open.

I am assuming conference games at neutral locations, still follow under the no or restricted alcohol sales. Out of conference games, like the ASU game or when we were in the big 12 playing Arkansas, it doesn't apply.

Fwiw they sold alcohol at reliant a few years ago during the Texas bowl against northwestern so I presume they will be for this game too

AggieSherman is right. If I remember correctly, I had more than a few containers of wine. Also, not that we control any of it, they sell wine and a limited selection of beers at SMU home games.

I'm pretty certain they will sell alcohol. I was at last year's LSU/Wisconsin game and they were selling it at every concession, just like at a Texans game.

Plus last year at jerryworld for the Arkansas game they sold beer everywhere as well.

Hopefully, I won't need alcohol during the game......i. e. Spav doesn't keep running the bubble screen, Bertolet don't miss any extra points, and our CB's aren't burnt toast by the end of the game.

I think the Houston A&M club has a huge tent for the pre-game Drink Ex.
