I've just received my notice from the 12th Man Foundation Ticket Center that my Faculty/Staff season ticket seating selection timeslot is next week.

I'm looking for insight into what priority I should give to each section of the faculty/staff sections: 114, 127, 134, 246, 350, and 351. http://images.12thmanfoundation.com/tickets/maps/2015-KyleField-FacultyStaffSeating.pdf

My wife has trouble sitting for extended periods of time, so reserving seats near an aisle (to allow her to get up and walk without climbing over many fellow Aggies) will factor into which seats I select next week.

Why? Do you know if these sections were open during regular seat selection? My understanding was these sections were reserved for faculty and staff only and Monday will be the first day of selection for them.

I was on the aisle in 245 last year, but could not get 245 this year because since 246 was unavailable everyone piled into 245.

Hey, if you are in Frisco, did you watch Kyler play in high school?

The faculty/staff selection that starts Monday is for those who never had faculty/staff tickets before. all the old faculty/staff that picked based on their own PP rank already picked during Phase 1. so its a good bet all the 'good' seats in those sections are picked already.

Does anyone know if the back row of 246 opens directly to the concourse?

If my wife could sit on any bench seat in that row, it seems that she could then get up when needed -- which might be even better than an elusive aisle seat.

I know it does in 245. Climbing up to the top was easier than going to the aisle for me. Overall it was much easier to get to the concourse in the SEZ than anywhere else I've sat. I also like to get up and stretch, and was able to watch the field from the concourse there.

What do you know about the back rows of 114 or 134? Do either of those sections have bench seats that one can just step over into the concourse?

My season tickets last year were in section 246. I would love to have those seats back. It is easy to access that section and the view is awesome. It is not to close to the loudspeakers from the megatron video board. I would trade tickets with someone to sit in that section again.

Save some money and do bottom rows of 350-351. It's what we did over the 200 section since you enter the ramps on the same level.

not all of 114 is arm chair. for some bizarre reason, they armchaired about the first 8 rows then the rest is bench. the upper rows of 114 is the only bench section in the entire first deck from Sections 101 to 122.

114 is running low on seats. Did not check on 127.

We were able to secure seats on the second bench down from the concourse in 246. We'll have to go past quite a few folks to get to the aisle, but we're expecting there will be times when the back bench has a gap to step over.

Looking forward to our first year with season tickets.

I just picked mine and went with section 134 under the shade. But 246 had a lot of good seats left too. Shade wins out for me though. Hope I don't end up regretting it for the next 10 years!

How is there an option to pick in 114? I had been in 114 for 35 years and we were booted out because it was needed for Faculty and player's families. What changed?

Funny...I had Row 36, seats 1-3. That row is great! You are on the top, so you can stand and not have to worry about people behind you (other than the LOLpoors in the bleacher seats behind you). Unless it is changing, it was bench last year.

The lower third of 114 is now armchair, the rest is bench.

and its gonna look weird since the upper 2/3s of 114 are the only bench seats on the first deck from the SW corner to the NE corner.
