Did TexAgs finally realize they should just throw in the Colin Cowherd type interview every once in a while to increase listeners/discussion of the show? You can only have so many people saying the same **** over and over before you almost want to hear someone say something completely different; even if you don't agree with it. It's like putting the Premium Board on the radio. Good for them for spicing it up a bit.

What I thought was ridiculous, was the statement that KM's decision (especially if others follow suit) could change the recruiting for 10 years. That is frickn RIDICULOUS. One class does not change the direction, REGARDLESS of which side these guys choose.

If I could replay this for the zoo they would go ballistic. Commentator now trying to soften the conversation.

I live in Austin...they are talking about the potentially KM flip as being the biggest recruiting coup in the state of Texas in the last decade, so saying that it would change recruiting for the next 10 years is par for the message coming out of this city right now. Obviously it's hyperbole to say the least, but it would be a massive flip, with bull**** following from each side (Texas people going from dismissing KM as being too short, etc. to all in on him being GOAT; A&M people downplaying the significance of losing him/ignoring the fact that a few weeks ago we were reveling in the "what do we do with all these bad ass QB's" problem).

IMO, it's something that I could see happening exactly the same way from our standpoint. Recruiting not being exactly what we wanted it to be, then at the last minute Looch floats a story about a potential "game changing power move" that Sumlin was cooking up (obviously Looch would be less overt about it than Ketch and the other sip guys have been, for a multitude of reasons).

If it happens that KM flips, then everyone goes nuts and Ketch and co look like a profits having all the inside info; if it doesn't, then he's able to spin it as a sign of things to come, where Strong is able to put up the fight of all fights that no one else on earth could even dream of, and go toe to toe with A&M for any recruit in the state. That's not too dissimilar from what would happen here if the roles were reversed. I think everyone forgets that fan masses are the same no matter what colors they wear.

Exactly!

Without a doubt, the BIGGEST, and potentially ONLY signing that could have a 10 year effect is Chavis. I say this for two reasons:

1. He has a history of being an incredible DC
2. Losing him to another school for a HC position is slim, if at all possible

Reason number 2 is why the Chavis hire has a much higher potential to position us as a long-term National Championship contender than Muschamp would have been. Will is not done as a HC, and his tenure at AU could be shortlived, IMO.
