I hope he's thinking in terms of a lifetime decision. Personally in 10 years I'd rather be able to say 'I propelled my family's alma mater to to a SEC/National championship' rather than 'I started as a freshman for texas.' In the long run, I would think playing for A&M would be more meaningful for him and his family. Can't blame him for waivering though. Hell, I was going to go to Tech if I hadn't passed the English clep test because Tech was giving me 8 hrs credit for english. Thank God I passed it! It's crazy the things 17/18 year olds base their decisions on. Haha

What you feel and how you think you would act has no bearing on Kylers decision. HTH

You do realize his family also starred at UT on the baseball diamond, right? The way I see it, he can extend the family legacy either way he chooses, except he can be a baseball legacy and create his own star at one school versus another.

Click here to earn $12 a year! All by just sitting home, sipping coffee, and posting useless threads using this simple trick invented by a single mom. TexAgs hates her!

LOL my point is that 17 yr olds make decisions based on short term things. Mine turned out ok though... you can go back to melting down now. That did make me laugh when you said finally BLB'S thoughts

Thank for telling us how you would handle this, OP. That's what I was really wondering about.

Another interesting story about my 18 yr old self, I ate chickfila every day for lunch my entire freshman year and gained 20 lbs. That decision didn't turn out as well.
Good news though, I lost the weight!

Apples and oranges dumba$$. his uncle does not and should not carry the same weight as having a father that was a true star at A&M and the fact that Kyler has been an Aggie his whole life. Go back to OB and spew you jealous wishful thinking there. Aggie wannabes....

You do realize the only reason he is considering tu is that they are trying to buy off his dad (and this is from your own boards).

The decision has nothing to do with anything on either field.

It's not as bad as getting your junk caught in a spinning lathe and having it rip everything to shreds before you can hit the stop button, and then spilling a jug of alcohol on your tattered and blood soaked shorts and you tried to crawl on your belly through oil and quick dry to the phone. That would suck.
