How long do you want to ignore this user?
that Kyler is simply trying to scramble t.u.'s class by visiting to get Gentry to walk and convincing recruits to flip to the good guys?

I think KVM is trying to force Sumlins hand to pledge KM will be the starter. The unofficial visit was the first shot. Imo

Yes, and it is absurd. First, do you really want a player that would do that to any team? Second, while they are our rivals, its a good school with a great athletic program that won't be down that long if history means anything. I think Kyler in his heart, wants to come to TAMU. However, he's an 18 year old trying to make the right decision. He would be silly not to at least consider what may be a better chance to start at a big time program. Due to his silence he is still thinking on it, but in the end, I think he will come here. Why? because under Sumlin he has the best chance of being a College Football super star like JF. Being smaller than JF, I'm guessing he is likely headed for MLB after college. So the next four years is his football career.

True Fish QBs typically suck. The ones that play well typically did so in option systems, especially if they also ran a lot of option in HS.

I don't buy this.

Daddy pushing for KM to start would be stupid. Kevin should know it. He declared with a year of eligibility left to milk a year or 2 out of the pros before his body gave out. He never got a year or 2 out of the pros.

Had Daddy redshirted and done modern strength and conditioning, would things have gone differently? Funny that Kyler is also short and undersized. He needs to gain 20 pounds. Of course tu faces maybe 2 "kick-ya-fuggin-head-in" defenses a year. We face 5 or 6.

So IF any of these rumors are true;
and IF the issue is starting a true fish;
then who needs that kind of headache

What is funny is that this type of stuff has ALWAYS happened during recruiting. Teams promising the world, teams telling recruits that the other team is terrible and yada-yada, players flipping at the last minute.

However, we know have the 'honor' or 'priveledge' of hearing about all of this in dang near real-time, which makes it seems so much more outrageous.

A few years ago there was a 5* recruit from I think Coppell named Emanuel Moody. The meddling uncle ran the recruiting and was a royal pain. It came down to whoever kissed his rear the most. SoCal and the sips fought it out. He eventually went to So Cal. The uncle moved to So Cal, came to all the practices, and told Pete Carrol how to best use Emmanuel. Pete Carrol took the uncle's advice with a very large grain of salt.

Emmanuel got buried in the depth chart. All of the SoCal RBs were high impact recruits. After a year, he transferred to Florida. He did not want to compete with the other great athletes on the SC roster. He never did much at Florida. He never got drafted. He probably plays arena or is out of football.

Football is a team sport. Prisons and Track Squads are full of talented punks unwilling to be part of a team.
