You know what is funny, if we weren't so focused on "swag," smoke and mirror bs percepction, we would have been combing cfb for a guys JUST LIKE THIS. Lots of experience, put together a complimentary d to a spread o, etc...This thing gets sicker every frigging day!

How exactly was it handled any different than our search?? It's taken several weeks much like ours. Difference is that they don't have a fanbase out there making the candidate list for their staff and stressing out every time someone comes off the list they created.

So you are ok with how ours is being handled then.?? Glad you're on board.

I would rather have a defensive backs coach from an SEC school for a DC than a current DC from a tier two - maybe tier three conference. Think I'm crazy? Saban coaches the DBs at Alabama, see where it got him.

End of day we gotta trust in Sumlin... I think we've wasted a lot of time on guys who were never really interested...

I think saying up front that you're not considering 3-4 guys & not considering nfl guys is a mistake...

But I like the idea of Durkin & think that's where it ends up...

Sumlin is a helluva coach & recruiter..

So yeah... Of course I'm on board w who he chooses
