That's the image of Kyle I've seen all my life , every since going to my first home game as a little kid.

But the west side is a dump so be happy.

I hated seeing the end zone go because that was almost original. The west side is pretty new by comparison. Not as big of a deal to me.

Will be a beautiful sight when the west side is a pile of rubble. I don't know how you could **** up construction of west side stands any worse over the years but A&M managed to do it. Good riddance.

My season tickets as a kid were in the corner between the west side decks and the zone above the tunnel... wonder if its gonna stay or be rubble... hope it stays

Didn't really start thinking about it until tonight, but the west side is the only part I have left of my first A&M football game. Came up with a friend when I was a little kid, but he was killed in a car accident earlier this year. I still remember running up to the top of the 3rd deck and looking over the edge. By far one of the coolest things I had seen at that age. I know most people have many more memories of the west side than that, but that was my very first aggie memory, and I'll always hold it close to me.

I remember it because i had to carry two cynder blocks up that damn thing because I skipped a workout. Blow that F***** up! HA

I really wished they had taken the "welcome to Aggieland" banner and aTm on the west side down before the implosion. It's going to be an overplayed GIF after any more decommitments or losses.

As a west side season ticket holder for the last 26 years and not renewing .. Yeah it's a little bittersweet.

Might have been a little too close to the action? Stage was evacuated pretty quick after the smoke cloud came over.

Yep, should have taken the lettering down. And I would have paid a lot of money for that big-block aTm logo that hit the ground face-down.

still remember driving on 21 and seeing kyle for the first time as a kid. Will have that memory forever.

I'll admit I cried a good five minutes after watching it come down. Lots of great memories of the seats that have been in my family a long time. It definitely struck my one feeling today.

I'm in the same boat SoBe. We did not renew due to cost, but our family has had west side seats since 1970.

Yep I don't think my family is renewing either. It's just insane what they are asking. I had a sad feeling that the LSU game may be the last in person game I see for a very long time. Definitely an end of an era.
