Usually it's an occasional whiskey shot while drinking beer...I don't use the good whiskey as a mixer, just straight and at room temp. Try drinking the good stuff instead of something that has to be mixed.

Oh, there's plenty of maroon koolaide out there, but beware...it will give you a horrible hang-over and awful after taste, kinda like a sip just crapped in your mouth. Bad stuff - - put the glass down and walk, no...run away.
