Hang tight. The free fall has just begun. Hoping this is it but gut tells me several more are going to jump ship.
Sumlin firing the DC was a dumb move without having his replacement already on the hook and ready to come on board. This will probably be the catalyst that starts Sumlin's downfall. Don't have to worry about the NFL stealing him... And if we fire him early who in the hell that's got a good job and is a top flight coach would want to come coach here?

On a positive note, with Michigan giving Harbow 8 milski per year, Sumlin is becoming a bargain !
Don't be concerned, Sumlin's working on a blockbuster deal. The "rising star innovation" has been shelved.

The Ag's total D was ranked 109 in 2013 and 101 this year. The average of that is 105 which is near 107.
At this moment in time, I do not think it will get better next year. If you disagree, please tell me why.

Men's basketball is going to out recruit football.... Now that is a SAD thing..
The fact is that our football team has gotten worse each year, since year 1 in SEC. When you show that you are heading in the wrong direction, recruits change their mind and they don't want to come. They want to WIN, and we are showing that we are just not going to be a competitive team in the SEC anytime soon.
Go support track, women's soccer, and women's basketball, if you want to see winning programs at A&M. I don't know what the answer is, but it is obvious that football is destined for the bottom of the SEC West

Your post is full of fail.
Who would want to play or coach d here? Even when we're winning, with our offense the d is always going to be in the position to try and be mediocre. When our offense is clicking, defense is always on the field. When our offense isn't clicking, our d is always on the field. Tough to attract top talent that way.
So Sumlin has forfeited the title of "Black Mack" now??
We'll see if Strong can shed the "Tan Fran" moniker.
