Sumlin is the man. He is a winner. Don't mistake silence for inactivity. He is working on a plan that will succeed at the highest level. Losing a recruit here or there is just noise. Lots of talent is in the pipeline. A new DC is in the pipeline. We had a rough year, but you can't make a comeback until you've had a setback. Our Ags will be back next year. Count on it.

How many setbacks do you need before making the comeback?

what has Sumlin done that we should "TRUST IN SUMLIN"

One good recruiting class?
Ride JFF's coat-tails to 5 MM?
Lose more games each year as we become increasingly less fundamentally sound?

Bunny...... If you dont think Sumlin had something to do with JF success, look again.....

JF set almost every sec record in two years of college football. Why didnt Mike Sherman use him? And dont say that Tannehill was better because I was at the Spring game that Manziel trounced Tannehill

Next question..... If its ALL Manziel, why isnt he being successful in the pros?

decent argument until this statement... pro sucess means absolutely nothing in terms of how good a college player is/was

and starting a senior over a true freshman is something that even Sumlin would have done. Similar to giving the nod to Trill to start the season

And he wasn't the first or even the second player from here drafted in his own class. He was barely a first-round pick. If you want to credit any player for Sumlin's success, it should be Evans. We needed him a lot more this year than we did Manziel.

NFL potential/success has nothing to do with how great a college player was.

you guys are further showing your idiocy

Jackson Jeffcoat was the number one recruit too once. He went undrafted.

Manziel was a decent QB, but he had excellent offensive linemen and WRs. Crediting him with our success is just stupid. Of course, from someone who got banned for making bonfire jokes, I'd expect no less.

Wait a minute........ of all the D1 coaches that never gave Manziel a second look, and there are many, at least Sumlin knew what 98% of the morons in Texags didnt know, and that was he was a phenom.

Because 98% of the morons in Texags said that Showers would be the starter and was so much better than Manziel.

Sumlin got it right, and turned the beast loose.
