Yes, the beginning has ended. Officially.

Seems to be an interesting book. New house, new family members, lost family members coming home from the hospital..........I'll read on.

2012 - 11 wins
2013 - 9 wins
2014 - 7-8 wins

Lost half the staff, looks like next year we'll be at 6-7 wins. I thought 2015 was going to be the year too.

I think we will do much better next year. Remember Kyler won't be going anywhere else. If he is as good as JFF, all we need to do is be a reasonable defense to be contenders. With a good DC pick before long, I say Mack is not gone. But even if he does bolt to LSU we should on paper have a better more mature defense next year and the right DC could make it a very good defense. I don't think one linebacker that may or may not play out in college is the end...

How do you figure we automatically have a better defense next year? And how much better? Because they are awful now...they could just be "pretty bad" next year.

And how are we going to make a good DC pick at this point? There's a reason we don't have one yet, and it isn't because of any $800k annuities vesting 12/31.

Other than you're run-of-the-mill "yay we're Aggies and there's always next year" mentality, what could possibly give you any confidence in anything defensively?
