I hope you're right. However, I've always felt Texas was the biggest threat to us with Malik and ucla was the biggest threat with McNeal. Still predicting we get Malik and ucla gets McNeal. Friday can't get here soon enough.

It's optimistic thinking. There is a *chance* of a possibility with one of the names being thrown around right now. Without sharing information that isn't supposed to travel amongst Boards it sounds like Fud Boster.

But again, it's the chance of a possibility. Please do not read into it. It's going off the whole idea of a "two weeks notice" which I have still yet to ever see with a coaching job in this sort of setting. It would be what I would want as well, but my personal belief on the odds of it happening are at about 25%.

If it happens, great. But with there being so much speculation and rumor information being spread around it'll just be another letdown for you if it ends up not being true. Just relax man (even though I know that's hard right now) and if there is any smoke to it you'll know within the next 24 hours.

If we lose recruits because we can't close the deal with a dc by Wednesday, we need to pack it up. We will never be big time. I don't care how big our stadium is.

We've known Snyder was gone since Sunday after thanksgiving. that's 3 freaking weeks. Wasted all that time on muschamp. Now sitting on our hands.

Almost impossible to interview, offer and get someone to accept an offer by tmrw. Unless we've already interviewed them and have offer on the table.

Any reasonable dc would know that losing malik, when it sounds like we lead, makes his job a lot harder.

It's gonna really suck if we don't get a DC announced by tmrw.

And t.u. was able to "buffalo" a kid from Florida named Cecil Cherry to commit to Whorn Nation. He looks like a decent LB. I think we should bring to TAMU for a tour and make an offer. Hard hitter.

No single player is worth $800,000. There's no guarantee we get Jefferson with an announcement. If he wants to know who the DC is then he can wait until we announce it. I am adamately against forcing a decision for a recruity.

Folks I heard from a close resource to McNeal in Mesquite that he is leaning hard towards UCLA.
