OK, I will play. My favorites are the guys who proclaim anyone that is not in THEIR top 3 gets hired and it will be a disaster and they are through with Sumlin etc. I can promise you if they were USC fans years ago they would have melted down when USC hired Pete Carroll because he was such a failure in the pros! Here is the truth. Everyone wants a splash name hire. But that doesn't mean a Durkin (FL), or Gibbs, etc would not do just as great of a job as DC as the name guys.

Agree. The zoo has become way too negative. I hope potential students and recruits don't come here.

I'm 100% behind the Aggies. I'll never poor mouth the players or the school. I'm ok if posters take the shots at the coaches, but there are trolls that are just out to trash everything.

I think the biggest problem for our defense is our offensive. If we cannot put together drives and score points any DC will fail. You can not win a game of you are only playing defense. Our defense looks good for stretches but we are basically asking them to sprint an entire marathon. When our offense is clicking like in the SC game no one noticed are defense. If we bring in a great DC and he fails then I think it is obvious we need a new HC. This is Sumlins biggest hire of his career. I hope he gets it right.
