Miss State has to either lose 3 games, or there has to be a 3 way tie for 1st among 2 loss teams, where Mississippi State is the lowest ranking of the 3 teams in the 3 way tie for Auburn to win the West.

Whoever wins between Bama and State next week wins the west. If Bama wins they have the head to head for tied record if State wins they have head to head over Bama even if they loose the Egg bowl.

Yes, Auburn is done. If Alabama wins out they go to the playoffs. I also believe if MSU loses to Bama, unless they get blown out which I honestly don't see happening, they can then beat Ole Miss and go to the playoffs as a #3-4.

As it crazy as it sounds, it may be better for MSU to lose to Alabama, skip the SECCG and go to the playoffs. So many scenarios could play out. A 2 loss Auburn team is finished.

There are 2 undefeated teams left and 8 teams with 1 loss.

The ACC looks to have clinched a spot in the playoffs (Likely FSU, unless Duke beats them in the CCG).
The Pac12 could very well end up with one 1-Loss team (Oregon v Az State in CCG).
The B1G will likely end up with one 1-Loss team.
The BDF will likely end up with two 1-Loss Co-Champ teams (#OneTrueChamp).

If Miss State and FSU wins out, you will likely have a 1-Loss BDF team (Baylor and\or TCU). If both BDF teams end up with 1 loss, it would be very hard to put both into the Playoffs.
