Its Spavital's terrible play calling, i mean come on... the play calling was the exact same as the past 4 weeks. 100% predictability! of course the offense is going to struggle when the defense knows exactly what they are going to do!

And on defense, we have the talent to succeed. but the schemes... and getting the players to line up and communicate is not there. what i see is a bunch of individuals making plays not because of the set up but their talents and abilities despite the poor job of our defensive coaches.

The play calling was obviously toned down for Kyle. They didn't want to throw too much at him, much like JFF in his first game at least I thought it was obvious. Compared to Kenny's first start, you could see that they didn't trust KA nearly as much. Probably why Kenny got the start.

With an OL as pathetic as ours, what could he be expected to do.

Its the OLINE, other than mobility, Kenny and Kyle looked the same. I can see why they said it was a tight race, the deciding factor was seniority.

Is that why all of his deep passes were under thrown like they have been every time he's played this season?

The play calling being toned down wasn't the problem the PHILOSOPHY was totally changed.

At one point allen was 13/26 for 105 yards. Stfu with that **** ass garbage you're spewing.

Their DBs played much tighter coverage than ours. Actually, their DBs played damn good today.

No it wasn't, it was perfect coverage and a free play so he threw into the coverage. Every HS scout can not be wrong about his accuracy. He is 19 and coming out of AZ HS football, let him take reps for a while.

Can we bench Matthews? He looked terrible today, and he is way too undersized to be playing center. Ben Compton should be the starting center while Matthews plays that H-Back position.

It's the entire system. It begins with player development and ends with terrible play calling. Across the board, this team lacks leadership...not from its players, but the coaching staff.

The only way Sumlin can salvage this train wreck is to clean house at season's end, actually perform a national search for highly talented coordinators and then also retain specialty coaches like George Whitfield in the off season...but not just for QB's, but OL, DL, LB, DB, RB, receivers, etc.

Kyle was here for spring practice, fall practice and has run the 2nd team in practice for 8 games. He looked like he just arrived on campus. He just might be over rated.

They totally changed the offense. They ran sometimes two backs, had tight ends, were running plays with only one pass route never played a single down with 5 wide and rarely with 4. No quarterback A&M has would be able to say they know the offense we played today.

Agree with Foxo. When we saw Allen on the sidelines hitting on the camera girl I think that indicated more than we thought. He is not remotely prepared.

We played Tech/Houston air raid and then panicked after Arkansas and instituted OK state/West Virginia open field spread, and now I have no clue what this was.

Allen showed me that he was not prepared at all and made terrible decisions. What is sad is that this is the Offense he ran in HS. Offensive play calling is terrible as well, the backs hesitate to the hole. Poor coaching, poor technique, poor execution, poor, poor, poor. 5 million dollars feels like 5 dollars worth of effort.

Allen only threw one bad pass all day.

Compare that to at least 5 dropped passes, countless missed blocks and idiotic play calling at the last and tell me QB play is our problem.

Johnny's first game was Florida. Kyle's was against ULM. Trying to compare the 2 is laughable and speaks as to why the 'poor old us' Aggies continue to flounder about.

I guess it's the line's fault that KA threw behind several receivers, threw low, threw into triple coverage, missed wide open receivers, missed his check downs etc.

Threw into triple coverage? I don't remember this but even if it happened there were some plays where there wasn't even a read, the one guy running a route was the only throw designed in the play.
