Statement from Texas A&M Director of Athletics Bill Byrne

COLLEGE STATION, Texas- Statement from Texas A&M Director of Athletics Bill Byrne concerning the upcoming Texas A&M vs. Virginia Tech football game scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 18 in Blacksburg, Virginia, and Hurricane Isabel:

"We are keeping an eye on Isabel in the Atlantic and we are keeping in touch with the Virginia Tech administration. We are proceeding with our schedule of traveling to Roanoke, Virginia, on Wednesday. We will make the public aware of any changes to the scheduled contest. Foremost in our decision process is the safety and well-being of our student-athletes and fans."

I don't think they will go if the hurricane goes over VA, but I think it should start tracking northeast.

I hope we don't put anyone is harms way.
