If you watched Hill in HS SLC used him much like State uses Prescott. If you have more Qb run threat and play action passes, accuracy doesn't have to be pinpoint because focus moves from the WR to the Qb and therefore allowing more separation. If Kenny was supposedly a dual threat lets make him earn his keep and run the damn ball with him because he sure as hell ain't getting it done from the pocket!

Well, hell, who isnt a dual threat QB in HS? Typically they are athletes already, they read the defense, and they see openings and an opportunity to take chunks out of the field singlehandedly.

I'm not saying he is JFF but neither is Bo Walace and he ran for 2 TDs on us. Kenny isn't a slasher but he is an efficient runner when the play is called for him to do so. We aren't keeping the D honest because we don't call the Qb draw anymore like we did with JFF

I agree. He can't throw the deep ball consistently either. And we don't run with our backs enough especially between the tackles. All this means that our supposedly bad ass explosive O is actually easily contained. Fire spav IMO. So much talent is being wasted.

This is college football. Any QB with above average athletic ability should run. They use him like he has the accuracy of a Peyton Manning. Having said that though, it does appears that he tips over easily when he runs ;-)

You can't salvage a mediocre passing QB by having him run more. If he's not accurate enough (there is more to it than that) to be an effective QB, then move on to the next guy

Yes, I would like to see him run more. I'd go all in with Hill this year because we really do not have another option. I do not believe Allen is ready -- hopefully he will be with an one more year if he sticks around.

With no pressure, we see an effective QB in Hill. You have been spoiled with Manziel -- long ball and running abilities and pretty much everything else. Hill is plenty fast. Also looks durable. Move him around. Mixed in some (more) designed running plays.

Kenny is similar in size and speed to Prescott, and honestly I thought Kenny would turn out to be a lot like Prescott this year. For whatever reason though he has not.

If he was a good runner in HS then either he's being told not to run, a la Sumlin/Spav, or he's wanting to show. like Manziel did last year, that he can succeed in the pros and run an offense out of the pocket. Either way it does this team, this year, no good.

Maybe he doesn't like to run

There's no way Bo Wallace is more athletic than Kenny, yet look at how he utilizes his feet. Kenny is capable of doing a lot more damage on the ground than what he's done so far.

He was not a great runner in high school. Just fair and his speed doesn't allow him to be much of a college runner. Anyone's eyeballs should tell you this.

He might be a good tight end

Getting a few more awkward rushing yards out of Kenny Hill doesn't fix anything.

Based on his speed I wasn't a fan if him running. Then I saw him running more against MSU so I thought their may be something there. After seeing that fumble with the ball basically falling out if his hand. I'm thinking he shouldn't run it anymore.
