Abuyo with the touchdown?

Some of these older announcers need to go, or get a their facts straight, its embarrassing listening to these oldies. Give them a headset or something.

Pope caught same TD pass in South Carolina, dumb, do some homework man

I said the same thing when he said Pope with his first TD. He had one TD in SC and one against Lamar along with 18 receptions this year.

I think the announcers got it right about Pope having the best hands on the team. Never seen him drop a pass and he makes some circus catches, most notably the prayer Johnny threw up last year against Bama.

I enjoyed the: "this is the first time they have lined up with no receivers all season" after how big of a deal was made about that the last two times.

I have actually been pretty happy with the ESPN and CBS guys this year. Listening to Dave South is like taking a beating. "That guy" is still trying to figure out who scored. He has been mailing it in for a decade now.

Since you are on the subject....first game SC....early in the game, you know who acknowledges the "huge left tacke Cedric Ogbuehi" but somehow doesnt notice the even bigger guy next to him. Late in the game, BM says "there's Gramling, he's a backup." Somehow he didn't notice that Gramling had played the entire game.

Then when Neiderhofer caught his third pass, BM says "Neiderhofer gets his first completion".

A lot of this stuff happens late in the game when the announcers get sidetracked on a side story, and combined with getting tired, they miss a lot.

I'm sure he meant first catch of the day for Pope. Uncle Verne is old. He has been slipping the last 5 years

This was my thought as well. He's better than Dave South though. I love South's voice and his excitement on scoring plays, but most of the time, you don't have a clue as to what's happening. So happy all of our games are on TV now.

I love correcting folks who insist that it was Evans who caught that.
