Hard to be a big household name when Boise state is irrelevant now and will rarely play on TV.

Kid was weak between the ears. Committed to Clemson bc they were his dream school and his idol Brian Dawkins played there. Then committed to A&M bc they were his dream school too. Then committed to Boise bc he wanted to be the face of the program. Probably has a lot of people in hos life telling him he's better than he is bc they are either his recruiter (Yates) or someone who wants to ride that gravy train if he makes it.

Think he wanted the coach more than he wanted the school. Best wishes to him though

He gone to Boise and he sad. Probably a bad decision. I wish him luck though.

Did Yates mention what state Boise was in when he more than likely lied to him?

Thank God that sports center doesn't have to waste anymore time on them. And never having to see that blue field on TV is just an added benefit.

The only time I switched over to Boise this season I saw him on the sideline. Nice and clean. Didn't look like he'd played a down.

Maybe when Yates told him he'd be Boise State's Manziel, he meant that he'd ride the pine for a year. In all seriousness, though, hope he has a chance to do something good. There was not malice in his decision to decommit. He committed to A&M under a set of assumptions---that the guy who had been recruiting him would be his position coach---and circumstances changed. He did what he thought was best for his career. Good luck to him.
