2 days before the game and you can still get 2nd level yardline seats from both schools websites.
can also buy the max of 8 tickets together from either webite also and get low rows 4th level seats.

just saying

I hate neutral site games and the prices are too high for these tickets.
watching at home

Jerry world is a sheety place to watch a live football game, IMO

This. Went once, that was enough for me. Hate the man, his monument to himself, the high prices, and most of all the crappy environment in there.

I spend $900 a seat on season tickets this year, I don't need to spend another $200 each for a four hour drive and $12 beers.

Cotton bowl against OU was awesome.
Its all about who's playing.

Is it really a surprise? $100 to sit in the cheap seats of sterile, uninspiring NFL venue. I'm not shocked at all that good (and expensive) tickets are available. Sure, I could afford the lower seats at $240 a pop, but I'd rather drop that on a long weekend or concert. This game and venue don't hold my interest when I live in Houston and can watch this at home or at a bar with lots of other Aggies.

This. I'd wager most of the Ags claiming that Jerry World is a sh/tty place to see a game didn't go to the Cotton Bowl against OU. Their only memories are losses to Arky three times and the LSU thrashing, which will taint anyone's view of any stadium.

It's not the greatest place in the world to watch a game (the acoustics are awful, for one), but any Aggie fan who went to the 2013 Cotton Bowl and didn't enjoy the environment is insane.

All that being said, I certainly don't blame anyone from outside the DFW area for choosing not to shell out the $ and time to see us play there.

Wow, a triple post fail. That's what happens when you hit quote instead of edit.

FTR, I was at both. Have not seen A&M play Arkansas there.

Paying for a Cotton Bowl is one thing. $200 bucks a pop for the right to watch an early season game against a team that's won 2 conference games in the 2 years we've been in the league is something totally different.

Jerry world is the world's largest sports bar. You are sitting down watching a screen.

I prefer my couch and my tv.

College football fans are wising up to the shameless money grabs of neutral site games. Even when both teams are good, the masses don't want to go.

This. The Hubs and I were able to go to the Cotton Bowl against OU. Don't mind paying the prices for a bowl game. Conference game. tho'?? Different deal.

will be very interesting to see the attendance. How many hog fans will be there?

here are the numbers from the last 3 games vs. Arky at Jerryworld:

2009 ---> 71,872
2010 ---> 65,622
2011 ---> 69,838

it was very telling when the 2014 ticket application arrived...and the price of the tickets were the same as they were in 2009. The TMF was concerned about sales

Kyle Field rocks. Why the hell would we ever want to play a HOME game elsewhere?

I have seen the Ags and the cowgirls play there, both are horrible love game watching experiences. It's just a bad place to watch football, period.

I've been to three games at Jerry World:

2010 Arkansas
2011 Arkansas
2013 Cotton Bowl

In my opinion it's not worth the money. The ticket prices are too high for me to justify it when I go to every home game at Kyle. The venue is much less enjoyable than Kyle and doesn't have the aura of a college stadium. I would rather go to a smaller venue on a college campus, such as SMU or Rice, than go to another game at Jerry World that isn't a bowl game.

Been to three Aggie games there. None of which we have won. That's why I'm not going this time. We need this one.

Ervin,
I WAS at the CB against OU and loved the game results BUT hate the venue. It is a HUGE pile of crap that ruins the college football experience. I doubt I will ever set foot in that place again. I am FURIOUS that our admin builds a HALF A BILLION DOLLAR stadium on the backs of season ticket holders and holds a home game in an nfl dump in north texas !

We go to all home games and most of the road games. But we will not go back to Jerryworld. With tickets for 2, parking and drinks it is $750 to $900. And that is staying with friends rather than in a hotel. Would rather spend our $$ in Oxford or Auburn. Or even Starkville, which we will try out next weekend.

Why aren't both schools able to negotiate out of this by agreeing to schedule 1 OOC game at Jerry World for the next 10 years with other P5 teams? Jerry would an extra football game a year and we'd get our conference home game back.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Meh... I don't like jerry world as much as the next guy and the only reason I'm going is because it's close to home...

But my tickets were only $80 each, which is the same/cheaper than my kyle field conference game tickets.

You can spend what you want to spend at jerry world. Be a cheap ass like me and buy the cheap seats, sneak in booze. Or try and be a baller and spend $300 for club tickets, get front row parking, and 10 beers.

You can easily spend more at Kyle for a similar setup.

That said I'd rather do it at Kyle as well

it's too expensive! i disagree about the venue though. it's the best place to watch a game live. i went to the cotton bowl v ou and we sat at the top. you have an awesome view of the entire field and that giant screen just above for replays. it's kind of perfect.

i live in dallas and i'm gonna watch it on tv.

all that said, give me kyle field for the energy ANYDAY.

A reason those tickets are left is because those are the last to go. I'm sure all of the $85 tickets were bought up well before the $225 ones.

Completely disagree that Jerry World is a poor venue. I've been to all of our recent games there and loved it every time. Good view of the field no matter where you are. Which is more than I can say for the seats I had in the SE section of Kyle Field for the Rice game. I couldn't follow the play there unless the football was on the 20 or closer. I would still prefer to be at Kyle but I think the griping is all about prices (justified).

I must say, however, that you really have to practice not looking up at the screen. If you find yourself doing that during the play, it is a pretty awful experience.
