I'm sure that they didn't get the sod from "Grass King" like me, but in my experience, new sod after a soaking is not very durable.

Has anyone heard anything about what they are doing and whether it's going to be a mess?

Looked like the field barely held up for the Lamar game - players were constantly stomping down huge divets. With the rain and cooler weather it will only get worse. If the field doesn't hold it would be a real blackeye for our agriculture department.

Do you really feel like it makes our ag department look bad? Really?

Do you know a lot of people that are able to miraculously make grass take root in such a short amount of time? The grass should have been laid sooner, but that isn't the school's fault. Kyle wasn't ready for the field any sooner than it was done.
