you do realize KA was the best QB in the class, and a top 10 player in the country, right? Might not have a QB who gets 100 rushing yards a game.. But you can bet he's a guy who will get 500 passing.

I believe he was the best "pro" style QB in the class. I think there was a #1 dual style as well in that class. Kyler is a dual. And I consider Kenny Hill a dual as well IMO.

to be fair, Allen was ranked ahead of the #1 dual QB from last year, so he was the top overall QB.

What's wrong with having a pro style qb? Just cuz jff was dual doesn't mean we need all duels. Keenum didn't run hardly at all and look what happened there. Maybe we would be better if we had a pro style qb in sumlins offense. But what do I know

He's proven he'll take a playmaker how may be a bit more raw over a more polished, but less over the top potential guy. JFF & Showers weren't simply differentiated by JFF's running ability.

This. His offense was designed for a pass happy qb. JFF can just fit in any offense. Will be interesting to see if it will be as successful as it was at UH. Doesn't hurt that our running game is beastly.
