If we don't get into a BCS, I would rather go Cap 1 than back to Cotton. As much fun as spanking OU was last year, would really like a change of scenery.

They're thinking Cotton. Mark Schlabach has A&M playing t.u. while Brad Edwards has A&M playing Okie Light.

Geez- anything but the Cotton Bowl. We're playing different teams in a whole new region now and we keep getting dragged back to face out old competition. I'd rather play Vermont College....just ANYTHING different than the BDF.

Cotton Bowl is like getting paired with the teacher during square dancing. Texas Bowl is like getting paired with a guy teacher.

the conference office forced the Capital One to pass on A&M last year and take Georgia instead. I expect the Capital One to fight harder for the maroon-n-white this year.

also if the SEC East keeps beating each other up, then Bama, LSU, and A&M will finish the season as the top 3 SEC teams. Two will go to the BCS and 1 to the Capital One.

the UF-UGA loser will drop out of Capital One bowl contention via their 3rd loss. Likewise South Carolina if they lose to Florida. Mizzou still has to play UF, SCar, A&M, and Ole Miss -- the tigers will lose a couple w/o Franklin

Such projections at this time are pure speculation. Too many important games left.

I am so tired of the Cotton Bowl and Jerryworld, and I live 20 mins away. I guess I will go if that is where we end up. But, anywhere else please.

If we are in the Cotton Bowl, I am pretty sure that the sips will duck us again if they are bowl eligable. I think we can destroy just about any BDF team if we play them.

College Football News has us against OU in the Cotton - with Texas winning the Big12.

If our record is good enough I don't think the sugar bowl would pass on us for lsu. Playing Baylor would just ruin the post season.

We would beat them but what would we really accomplish? They've always been a doormat and who would really get pumped about the idea of playing them to end out season?

NO COTTON NO BDF TEAM..... Ill take a lower tier bowl to get a REAL trip. North Texas is boring, no reward for fans or team and I HATE the idea of playing ANY BDF teams anywhere or anytime.

We need to win out to take the Cotton bowl off the table. Anything else and it becomes a crap shoot.

While I argued against playing ut-Austin last year in the cotton bowl I was happy to play OU. There WAS something to gain with that match-up.

If we wipe the floor with OU, osu, Baylor or ttu, nothing changes for us. If its a close victory or a defeat, perception is hurt.
