It's glorious.

I remember not too long ago when just getting mentioned on ESPN was something everybody made a huge deal out of. An entire segment about A&M was the football highlight of people's week or month.


Now it is just a daily occurrence.

Front page of ESPN? No big deal.

Two segments on the Aggies in one show? Commonplace.


I'm sure y'all have all thought about it as well, but it's good to take a minute to really appreciate it and let it sink in though.

in 2009- Texas A&M traveled to k-state and oklahoma and were destroyed

in 2012- Texas A&M defeated #1 alabama and destroyed oklahoma

Hard to believe how far we've come, but it's a nice change. Especially knowing that we are the big program in the state of texas.

Frankly, the team, mktg., University is just now catching up to my expectations ... not how far we've come. Of course, I went to school in the late 80s and my stds. were set higher due to success then.

Make it sound like it was a build up to this but on the contrary it was a perfect set of circumstances that came together at the right time. The right coach, the right conference, the right traditional rich university and the right leftovers for a team designed for a different purpose under a different philosophy came together at the right time.

Must not follow recruiting. After Feb we will by far have the most talented team we have ever have.

And moving to the SEC was not luck. It was sure genius that involved huge cojones.
