Here is a thread I found from 2011 about manziel breeds of chickens. These guys mention a bunch of different breeds named for the manziels and speak to the prestige of the manziel chicken blood line. This just keeps getting more and more bizarre.

There is a family photo on first page of thread with bobby sr, bobby manziel jr. So is Paul the son of the bobby sr guy? Also wind walker is in that pic. Older guy. Honestly they all look kinda shady to me but maybe that is how it was in early 80s.

When I was a kid, Johnny's Great grandfather was one of the largest producers of Fighting Cocks in the US. He shipped them to Mexico for Cock Fights. Why would it be bizarre? I personally finding it fascinating. Cock fighting was a big thing in the South back in the days. Some families from the sticks root their fortunes from bootleggers. I think its interesting myself-to have your name attached to a specific lineage.
