Does anyone know how long this award has been around and have access to or recall who all of the winners have been?

I think 1965, Joe Welborn, started it.

That's correct, Joe Wellborn won the first Aggie Heart Award in 65 or 66. For the list of winners check the media guide.

Cody Scates, Oschlor Flemming, or Jamaar Taylor are arguably the front runners.

David Beal was great Arkansas...... what's he doing these days....?

David Beal ran for at least three TD's against TEch if I remember correctly. He could sure play qb.

David Beal was the head coach at Temple, Tx. until this past December. He is now an Athletic Director there.

lcraggie... It was 4 TDs against Texas Tech, his first collegiate start at Kyle Field in 1980.
