Fran's first DC Carl Torbush...A&M vs. Utah 2004. It was basically the game that got Urban Meyer on the national scene. Utah rolled us and we became the marquee game on their schedule on the road to a BCS bowl win and undefeated season.

that specific reaction came after Utah scored a TD on a running play where our defenders were so badly out of position that the running back basically walked into the endzone. it was just one of many poor defensive plays that game.

The previous year we held on to win, injuring Utah's QB on ther last play of the game. The next week the backup QB started for them, a guy by the name of Alex Smith who is now with the 49ers. If we don't hurt their QB Smith never gets on the field.
