There's not a bad place to be in Kyle Field.
I've watched from all three decks, the press box, the old horseshoe and the Zone
I squeezed close together in outfit formation and marched in thru the North End Zone Tunnel and stood for four years with the Corps.
I wonder where the inscribed keystone of that tunnel's stone archway is now?
I've participated in intramurals on the field and track.
I qualified at the rifle range beneath the east stands.
I took Military Science written exams seated on the wood to spread us out.
I've guarded our beloved stadium and field at night so the teasips wouldn't deface it.
I laid with my sweet and willing date from TCU on the 50 yard line, bare butt beneath the stars.
I've entertained and impressed girl friends, my parents, my wife, my kids and male friends from other schools by taking them to Midnight Yell Practice.
I've been on the track with a folding chair, when I'd just returned from overseas duty in Korea, just so I could be at Kyle on Turkey Day.
I've had season tickets on the east side where when we stood up it blocked the sight lines for the rich Ags who were behind us in a suite and they'd tap irritatedly on the glass window pane because they couldn't see without standing themselves.
I've sat in the south end bleachers so my young, restless kids could play behind me while I watched the game.
Depending on what you need or want and can afford there's not a bad place in Kyle Field.

Currently, I'll pick the lower part of the upper deck in the Zone where I, at my Ol' Ag age, have two seats now.
Comfortable, large, chair-backed seats and you can see Kyle Field and the entire Aggie Football Experience easily visible before you.
It's a great, high up view of the field, exactly the way the coaches draw the plays up on paper.
And the best view of pre-game flyovers and our band's counter marches.
Newer rest rooms and concession stands.
And an elevator, if you don't mind standing in line.
All my Kyle Field memories are still there.
Loyal Aggie fans up in the Zone yell a lot and we get excited and stand when The 12th Man needs more of our support.
I've been all over Kyle Field and for me now this is the best place and the best view at my almost 70 years of age.
I hope to watch many more home games from there.
