Watching the sugar bowl an with all the uniform talk it got me thinking about an A&M helmet similar to the Michigan helmet.

At one time in our history we had a helmet like Michigans with just the one stripe.

Can simone please photo shop a maroon version of that Michigan helmet on a player with one one stripe an numbers on the side of the helmet. Just be creative. I would do it but I dO not have the shop skills. Thanks.

Alabama does not have the crest in the front. The helmet we had like this was pre 1950s. It was a leather helmet. I could not find a version of it on the Helmet Project but they have one in the sports museum in the zone.

Black is always cool. I think that maroon is a dark enough color. We just need to be creative with it.

Why about that black helmet with the all whites on the road?? Maybe some maroon on the shoulders and a stripe on the pants with a black outline.

I know some of you will ***** - but I like the aTm within the shape of the state. Surely, someone can come up with something original with regards to aTm and the state of Texas combined. Don't marketing people at the university get paid for stuff like that?
