I could care less if we bring back sarge, don't see it doing any good or detriment.

Tell C.C. Creations and your other favorite t-shirt companies that you want to see more Old Sarge merchandise and I think we will see more of it in the next few months. Many of us on here were persistent about having more apparel with TEXAS AGGIES on it and now there is more of it out there. The same thing with the classic aTm (no bevel). We've been asking for non-bevel A&M gear and finally we are starting to see a little more of that for sale, although in my opinion there is still way too much gear out there that is only available with the bevel.

Don't like the one head-only new Ol' Sarge logo that is still allowed, though. I really like the old chest-up logo (with TEXAS AGGIES) that Old Main showed earlier. I would buy loads of stuff with that on it and would love to see it used with TAMU Athletics.

@rkramer-I gotta admit, that Sarge looks more like something that would scare the ever livin, ever lovin s*** outta the kids. Hell, I have a Leno chin and can look mean all the time. Corps gave me a Smokey the Bear hat. Gimme the gig. No chin implant necessary. (unfortunately, it's somewhat true...)

This should still be a part of our merchandising. All the way to having "AMC" on the collar. Some things just shouldn't change.

I am for keeping "Old Sarge"
We can add young Lt. We can play around with Mid major. We can have Gen. Education or Gen. Ed. I've always liked Col. Sanders. I've never liked Cpl. Tunnel. We tried Mr. Jones. I have seen Cc Capt at some games. I have seen many doors on campus marked pvt. So as you can see we definatley need to keep "Old Sarge."

With an all-volunteer force, it is an up, or out military. Ol' Sarge wasn't making rank, and the tightening defense budget meant he had to go.

I fully agree OldMain, we should push the t-shirt companies to make them.

Heck student organizations should have their cotton they get every semester with an Ol'Sarge on the shirt somewhere (like the sleeve).

This would really up the Swagger of our University - very SEC.

Most of the Aggie apparel stores around B/CS carry Ol' Sarge gear.

The one posted earlier in the thread (and the best looking one I've seen in a while) is from AO. Though it's a bit pricey for a t-shirt.

Hell yess!! bring him back. I grew up in Dallas looking at Sarge beating up Mustang in the weekly charactures cartoon where SWC mascots would fight each other.

Gracias Ags, the forum is the source of some of the funniest stuff. It reminds me so much of the dorm the brown pots, waking up at 5 am , staying awake in class.
