If I'm not mistaken, I believe Huntsville High School is the same way. I remember a playoff game between Belton and Huntsville at Kyle back around '02 and Belton's is a knock off of Texas Fight.

Tarkington High School plays the War Hymn as their fight song. Their colors are also maroon and...something, I dunno. I dated a girl who went to school there while I was in high school.

My school played "Gonna Fly Now". It was awful. We wanted them to play "The Final Countdown", but the band nerds got uppity and refused and coach said we had to give back their hats.

That was a weird week.

How many freaking times do we have to go over this?!?!? Yes high schools in Texas play fight songs from some colleges. Insanity!!!

My high school (Henderson) used the longhorn fight song as well. I hated having to play that damned song over and over and over again in band.

A local high school uses the Kansas State logo. But their color is maroon. So I see a lot of maroon shirts with the Kansas State Wildcat on them. It sort of weirds me out.

Ennis has always had the War Hymn. Biggest reason I stayed their!!!!

Me and Tannehill went to dear old Big Spring High. (I am class of 88). Home of the Steers. texas fight is our school song. Makes me sick to my stomach every freaking time!

Hale Center High School alma mater "I've been working on the railroad" otherwise known as "Eyes of something or other"

Petersburg High uses the War Hymn, sped up about 3x as their fight song.

Amarillo Caprock are the Longhorns, colors orange and white.

Not a lot of originality in high school.

I feel kinda neat now, my school was different. But we hated it all the same:

I believe kerrville tivy uses the Spirit of Aggieland as their fight song

CanyonAg... I swore no one else on earth knew where Hale Center was. Its where I went to HS, and my husband went to school in Petersburg.
