I love the high school material and that makes the magazine more than worth it. To me, it was always the best magazine out there but I guess that was just my opinion with all of the opinions I'm reading here.

The DCTF Twitter account chose to announce when one of our recruits defected to Oklahoma State. I forget the exact verbiage in the tweet, but IIRC it included "wah wah", which many Aggies took to infer the fact that DCTF was crying for us, or otherwise mocking us. Someone with DCTF later explained that the tweet was referring to a sad game show noise. Regardless, it was unprofessional and was definitely not sent with any type of sympathy for the Ags. Most on here agreed it was a sorry move on behalf of DCTF, and many agreed the right thing to do was not direct any funding toward DCTF.

My issue is that's it's dc Texas football. Why the he'll would they be throwing it in our face that we lost a recruit to OSU?

DCTF writer was also a TCU grad, and looking at some of his previous pieces started to show an anti-A&M bias. For instance he'd done an article earlier in the year about Johnny Manziel, which is nice, but included such gems as "A&M Lucks Out". And:

Then there was also the comment about the Cotton Bowl that went something like: Hurray for you in your little win streak - enjoy getting pounded again playing an SEC team in a bowl game. Or somesuch nonesense... (Or was that Richard Justice?)

They don't deserve Ags patronage...
